Writer, Researcher, and Clinical Professional, Specializing in the prevention of Technology-Facilitated Domestic Abuse

Felicia Hunt, M.A. is a Subject Matter Expert in Post-Separation Abuse and Technology-Enabled Coercive Control
My work benefits survivors of long-term, primarily non-physical abuse—especially those enduring patterns that are court-enabled, digitally sustained, and result in trauma. I help organizations, professionals, and programs assist the populations they serve. My work includes but is not limited to running support groups, leading trauma literacy trainings, and designing digital tools for safer systems. I also develop custom curricula and write grants focused on domestic violence prevention, crisis intervention, survivor recovery, and tech-informed care. I’ve worked with health professionals, educators, nonprofit leaders, mental health providers, legal professionals, and parents navigating abusive dynamics. As a theorist, I write and present about digital abuse and recovery, technology-enabled coercive control, custody stalking (a term coined by Vivienne Elizabeth), and Type II Family Violence (FV2), which I have coined. All efforts are intended to help us understand and address this rising public health issue.
